Official Rules for PayKnights Expert Races & Expert Pools
Expert status is earned through prediction performance. It is not permanent, and it cannot be bought.
These Expert Rules are the Official Rules governing PayKnights Expert Races and Expert Pools.
HOW EXPERT RACES WORK
Each Expert Race covers a supported topic.
Your eligible Calls during the current cycle determine whether you qualify as an Expert for the next cycle.

Eligible Calls made before the applicable market closes can count.
Voided, cancelled, unresolved, or otherwise ineligible Calls do not count toward Expert performance.
Repeating the same underlying Call does not give you extra credit.

THE EXPERT LINE
Expert Races rank eligible Knights by Expert Score, shown on the Race page.
Expert Score measures how strongly your results beat market expectations, accounting for both the difficulty of your Calls and how much evidence you've built.
The Race page also shows the current requirements and Expert Line.
Finish in a qualifying position and meet the listed requirements to become an Expert for the next cycle.
If multiple Knights are exactly tied at the qualification cutoff, all tied Knights qualify.
Gain measures how much you beat market expectations. Expert Score measures how convincing that performance is by accounting for the natural volatility of your Calls and how much evidence you've built.
Expert Score = Σ Gain ÷ √(Σ expected variance)
EXPERT STATUS
Expert status applies to a specific topic and cycle.
Expert status may be removed or suspended for fraud, duplicate accounts, invalid participation, or other rule violations.
EXPERT POOLS
When a Pool is active, eligible Experts may earn a share by participating during that cycle.
NEXT EPL EXPERT POOL
$125 AND GROWING
You do not need to pay, subscribe to Pro, or purchase anything to qualify as an Expert or become eligible for a Pool.
If an Expert does not make the required eligible participation during the cycle, they do not earn that cycle's share.

CASH REWARDS
DEPENDS ON JURISDICTION
You can become an Expert even if cash rewards are not available in your jurisdiction.
Cash eligibility is determined separately for each cycle.
If cash rewards are not available where you are eligible to receive them, you do not earn a cash share for that cycle.
If your jurisdiction becomes eligible later, previous cycles do not become payable retroactively.
VERIFICATION & PAYOUTS
PayKnights may require identity, age, residence, tax, or payout verification before cash rewards can be paid.
Verification may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe.
CASH-ELIGIBLE, NOT YET VERIFIED
Eligible earnings may remain pending while required verification is completed.
CASH-INELIGIBLE JURISDICTION
No cash entitlement is created for that cycle.
ONE PERSON, ONE SEAT
Using multiple accounts to obtain additional Expert seats, Pool shares, rankings, or rewards is prohibited.
PayKnights may remove duplicate or invalid participation.
SETTLEMENTS & CORRECTIONS
Calls are settled under PayKnights' applicable scoring and market rules.
Once a cycle is finalized, ordinary later data changes do not normally reopen it.
PayKnights may correct a finalized result where there is fraud, invalid participation, a clear PayKnights error, or where correction is required by law.
PRO
Pro is optional.
Buying Pro does not increase your score, improve your ranking, create an Expert seat, or increase your Pool share.
Where necessary for competition integrity, you may need to lock your own Call before viewing certain Expert intelligence for that same market.

RULE CHANGES
These Rules may be updated from time to time.
The version in effect for a Race or Pool governs that competition unless PayKnights states otherwise.
These Expert Rules supplement the PayKnights Terms of Service. If they conflict, the Terms of Service control.
